As this holy Shabbat approaches, the Shabbat before Shavuot, I want to speak to every precious soul listening.
The Torah was not given to perfect people. It was given to a people who were still healing, still growing, still learning how to walk with HaShem.
That itself should give us strength.
Sometimes a person thinks, “How can I come close to HaShem? I still struggle. I still fall. I still carry confusion in my heart.”
But HaShem did not wait for us to become angels before giving us His Torah. He gave it to us in the wilderness, in the place of becoming.
So this Shabbat, we do not need to pretend. We come with humility. We come with honesty. We come with a willing heart.
May HaShem help each of us receive the Torah anew, with peace in the home, softness in the heart, and light in the soul.
